Pursuant to 10.U.S.C 3204(a)(1), Sargent Aerospace & Defense is the only responsible source of capable of fulfilling the Navy's requirements for the specified effort. The proposed award and resulting contract modifications are for supplies for which the Government intends solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302.
