The Public Diplomacy (PD) Section of the U.S. Embassy in Guatemala seeks a qualified tourism/logistics operator to provide integrated ground transportation, meal, and lodging services in support of field visits to departments throughout Guatemala. The purpose of this firm-fixed price purchase order is to acquire in-country logistics services in Guatemala for the US Embassy, Public Diplomacy Section in accordance with the statement of work. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award. Objectives Secure safe, reliable, and professionally driven transportation to departments throughout Guatemala, including remote areas requiring an all-terrain vehicle. Arrange meal services in accordance with the detailed specifications, addressing the scheduling and logistical needs of designated travelers and local participants for the full duration of each trip. Coordinate lodging that meets the hygiene, safety, and comfort standards specified in this SOW at each destination. Serve as the Embassy's single logistics and administrative coordinator for transportation, meal, and lodging arrangements; including scheduling, vendor management, and required paperwork, for each trip. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(s), offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal. Failure to be registered at the time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror?s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals/offers. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
