The proposed acquisition is to support NDU?s requirement for the renewal of OCLC software for the use of national and international bibliographic and related records for all known information formats. A subscription to OCLC provides a unique matching software link to various databases and library catalogs. Access to these databases and services is required to provide access for NDU patrons and staff to the library's materials as well as to expanded content, reference, and discovery options.
