This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid.  The intent of this notice is to identify potential offerors of an upcoming contract action for lease of a tension fabric shelter to be used for as an aircraft maintenance hangar.  The relocatable shelter shall have minimum dimensions of 110 feet wide by 150 feet long by 45 feet high, including a door opening of 90 feet wide and at least 23 feet high.  The relocatable shelter requires sufficient lighting, electrical outlets and air compressor stations. 

The procurement method to be utilized is Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation/Solicitation of Commercial Items.
 

The NAICS Code for this procurement is NAICS 332311 - Prefabricated Metal Building and Component Manufacturing and the annual size standard is 750 employees. 


The contract term will be a base period of one year plus three 6-month option periods.  The Government may require the Contractor to continue performance for an additional period up to six months under the Option to Extend Services clause. 


This is a new procurement.  It does not replace an existing contract.  No prior contract information exists.

The proposed contract listed here is 100 percent small business set-aside.  The Government will only accept offers from small business concerns. 


The solicitation utilizes steamlined procedures for evaluation of commercial items, which requires offerors to submit a technical proposal, past performance, and a price (or cost) proposal for evaluation by the Government.
