Amendment 1: This amendment answers a question. - - - - - This is a combined synopsis/solicitation being issued in accordance with the authority of FAR 13.5. The Library of Congress (LOC) is seeking a contractor that shall transcribe, produce, and distribute to NLS patrons 13-month braille calendars. This is a brand-new product to be offered by NLS and is considered to be a pilot program. Calendars shall be produced in two sizes: 11.5x11.5 hanging wall calendars and 6.5x6 pocket calendars. The contractor shall press or emboss, bind, and distribute the calendars to patrons in accordance with the requirements of this document and the NLS production specification documents.
